Apogee  est projet parallèle du leader de  Versus X .
Progressif complexe, ambitieux, symphoniques, avec des touches jazz,
folk allemand, musiques progressives, contemporaines, et même hard rock,
entre  King Crimson  ,  V D G G  ,  Peter Hammill  et  Pink Floyd  .
Au programme, nappes de claviers amples, riffs et soli tendus, atmosphères
lancinantes et obsédantes. " Mystery Remains " ( 2009 ) est le quatrième
opus d' Apogee , Arne Schaefer  a reçu le renfort d' Uwe Vollmar  et
Thomas Reiner , batteurs successifs de  Versus X . La musique est devenue
plus personnelle, cinq longues pièces (9 à 20 minutes) qui confirment un
goût prononcé pour des structures musicales complexes. Une musique
sophistiquée, intelligente et personnelle, qui a beaucoup de classe.
