Voici un groupe du début du rock progressif anglais, un peu dans le style  Colosseum / Jethro Tull  mais avec des influences pop,  sous la belle pochette de " the house on the hill " au style rétro présentant une scène
à la  Hitchcock , se cache l’une des plus belle perles des années 70.
Audience est un groupe multi-facettes, sa musique est difficile à définir,
le quartet s'autorisant des incursions dans le Jazz fusion, le rock classique
et mélodique, le folk à la  Dylan , le blues et le rhythm & blues sans
oublier un petit côté vers le mouvement progressif.
