Birdsongs Of The Mezozoic  propose une musique décalée et originale,
avec plus de vingt ans d'existence et une dizaine d'albums au compteur,
ce groupe de Boston, difficile à décrire, explore et mélange des genres multiples qui vont du Canterbury au RIO en passant par le jazz-rock,
le rock, le punk, le classique. Une musique, ambitieuse, mystérieuse,
impressionnante, bourré d'idées, aux incessants changements,
aux improvisations dissonantes, aux intonations jazzy ( saxophone, flûte ),
aux claviers enivrants et omniprésents, aux guitares presque dissonantes.
Une musique novatrice, débridée, réservée principalement amateurs
d' Univers Zero , Miriodor  et autre  Frank Zappa ,
et ayant tout de même une bonne dose d'ouverture d'esprit !
