Adam Green  (né le 28 mai 1981 à New York) est un chanteur-compositeur
américain qui a débuté sa carrière dans le groupe  The Moldy Peaches  avec
Kimya Dawson . Souvent comparé à Ben Folds, Leonard Cohen, Ben Kweller,
et Jonathan Richman, le style de folk alternatif indépendant de Green a atteint
un grand succès aux États-Unis et sa popularité grandit dans différents pays
européens, en particulier en Allemagne. Après un bouquet d'albums solo et plusieurs expositions de peintures, cette figure culte de la scène new-yorkaise
redevient homme à femmes le temps d'un disque délicieux composé avec la
chanteuse et multi-instrumentiste  Binki Shapiro . La voix de cette Californienne
aux faux airs de  Joni Mitchell  faisait le charme du trio Little Joy, formé par
son petit ami d'alors, Fabricio Moretti , le batteur des Strokes.
