Roy Harper  auteur-compositeur-interprète excentrique et prolifique,
est un guitariste de rock spécialiste de la musique folk. L'influence de
Bob Dylan , Bert Jansch , Donovan , et peut-être même au début
Al Stewart  planent sur la majeure partie de ce folk-rock. Il est aussi connu pour ses associations avec  Jimmy Page  et  Robert Plant
de  Led Zeppelin  et  Pink Floyd . Son prog-folk-rock lui a valu une
place de choix dans le panthéon des compositeurs britanniques.
