" Secret Lies " est le septième album solo du musicien britannique  Jakko M. Jakszyk ,
Il a joué entre autre avec  Level 42  et rejoint le groupe  21st Century Schizoid Band ,
avec  Mel Collins , Ian McDonald  et les frères  Peter et Michael Giles , avant de
jouer avec  King Crimson  en 2013, ce qui est sa collaboration la plus prestigieuse.
Avec " Secret Lies " il ne fait pas vraiment du  King Crimson , mais il l'évoque,
tout en faisant preuve d'un goût affirmé pour la mélodie, entre ballades mélancoliques,
ambiance cosy et titres plus étranges, équilibré entre mélodies accessibles et audaces
plus dissonantes. Un album à la foi technique, offrant aussi de beaux instants
musicaux, notamment aux guitares.
