 Katatonia  est un groupe suédois formé en 1991. Leur musique,
un doom mélodique aux accents death metal, riche de thèmes
comme la mort, le suicide et la dépression, donne aussi dans un
rock atmosphérique à forte teneur émotionnelle et dépressive.
Riffs tonitruants voisinent avec mélodies subtiles dans un même
mouvement introspectif, toujours porté par les textes noirs.
