Gary Moore est un guitariste et chanteur britannique,
il se tourne vers la guitare électrique à l'âge de 11 ans,
passionné par  Eric Clapton , John Mayall  et ses Bluesbreakers .
La virtuosité de son jeu en fait un des meilleurs de son style.
Il utilise souvent des sons saturés qui s'apparentent au hard rock,
mais ses inspirations rythmiques et mélodiques sont directement
issues du blues. Sa carrière débute au début des années 1970,
avec sa participation dans des groupes comme  Skid row , Colosseum II ,
puis il joue à plusieurs reprises avec le célèbre Thin Lizzy .
C'est d'ailleurs avec  Phil Lynott  qu'il produira son plus grand succès,
le single " Parisienne Walkways " en 1979, sans oublier
" Still got the Blues " un de ses meilleurs titres.
