Groupe mythique de l'école allemande de musique planante, précurseur en
matière de musique électronique et fondateur du Krautrock, point de départ
des musiques New Age, à l’instar de Tangerine Dream et Klaus Schulze .
Musique cosmique sereine, méditative avec de fortes influences religieuses dominée
par les chœurs, les synthétiseurs et les guitares. Thèmes étirés, climatiques,
ambiances feutrées et recueillies, fluidité des thèmes, plages mouvantes,
ouatées, répétitivité, générant bien-être et sensation de repos,
de paix et de bonheur, la répétitivité associée à la beauté ou à la tranquillité,
la fluidité des thèmes, la douceur des sons, leur aspect volatile, gracieux,
les mélodies évanescentes, suggestives, oniriques, donnent à leur musique
ce caractère presque mystique et profondément rédempteur et apaisant.
