Alan Stivell  auteur-compositeur-interprète et musicien breton, il est à la base
de la renaissance de la harpe celtique et de la musique bretonne moderne.
Sa musique, fusionne moderne et traditionnel, elle est très ouverte sur le monde
et s'appuie sur des formes musicales originales. Son œuvre musicale se double
d’un combat pour la reconnaissance de la culture celtique et pour une plus grande
fraternité entre les humains.Ses albums, d'une beauté et d'une diversité extraordinaires,
ont navigué de musiques traditionnelles bretonnes en classiques du folklore irlandais
avec une touche de folk-rock moderne et de rock progressif. Influence majeure pour
de nombreux musiciens folk-rock avec ses entrelacs d'instruments tradionnels et
amplifiés, le premier album solo de Alan Stivell , Renaissance of the Celtic Harp (1972),
reste son grand classique, et par la suite il s'est essayé à la cornemuse et au chant.
Son plus grand accomplissement, cependant, reste la renaissance et la redécouverte
d'un instrument et d'un pan entier d'histoire de la musique.
2018, voici le 25ème opus " Human~Kelt ". Selon Alan , cet opus sera comme un
nouvel " Again " du 21ème siècle. Dans ce disque il avait revisité ses thèmes
traditionnels comme Son ar Chistr, Ian Morrison Reel, The foggy Dew, Tri Martolod,
Pardon Spezed, Spered Hollvedel, etc… avec un son plus rock et plus électro.
Ici, comme il l’avait fait pour " Again ", il y a plus d’une douzaine d’ invités prestigieux.
