~ The Opium Cartel ~

Emmené par le leader, compositeur et guitariste de White Willow , un certain
Jacob Holm-Lupo , The Opium Cartel est le nom de la nouvelle sensation de l'Ecole Scandinave du rock Progressif. Hors de son groupe habituel, notre homme développe
une approche plus intimiste et personnelle, où un folk-rock doux et étrange rencontre
une pop sensuelle dans des orchestrations tantôt acoustiques, tantôt electriques.
Le premier album " Night Blooms " (2009) intègre une foule d'invités prestigieux
comme d'autres membres de White Willow ou Jaga Jazzist , ou encore les chanteurs
Tim Bowness (No-Man), Rachel Hadenaux (Todd Rundgren , Jimmy Eat World ...)
et Rhys Marsh (Rhys Marsh & The Autumn Ghost , Anekdoten ...).
