Dans les années 60, sur les hauteurs de Laurel Canyon à Los Angeles,
une tribu de musiciens rédigeait un des grands chapitres du folk-rock US.
Quarante ans plus tard, Jonathan Wilson a voulu renouer avec l'époque
bénie où le gratin créatif du rock US se retrouvait en Californie.
A l’écoute de ce premier album, Jonathan Wilson nous gratifie de
mélodies folk traditionnelles et de compositions aériennes, psychédéliques
presque floydiennes. Une oeuvre, certes nostalgique d'une ère passée,
la west coast inventive et cool des seventies, mais qui ne sonne en rien
artificielle ou datée. Un nouveau songwriter talentueux est né et vient
enrichir la discographie folk, superbe !!!
Jonathan Wilson a connu une année chargée en produisant Pure Comedy,
nominé aux Grammaires, et en tournée dans le monde entier, en tant que
guitariste et chanteur pour le légendaire Roger Waters de Pink Floyd .
