Hollande  -  néo-progressif  -  **

" Oregon " ( 2004 ) est leur second album de  Nice Beaver , formation Hollandaise,
encore méconnue, de néo-progressif dont le style musical peut-être rapproché de
groupe tel que  Pendragon . Du néo-progressif aux multiples ambiances, entre envolées
instrumentales, très convaincants soli de guitares faisant irrémédiablement penser à
Andrew Latimer ( Camel ), passages jazzy, atmosphériques ou symphoniques et
même aussi presque métal, le groupe y déploie une belle palette sonore avec hautbois,
violon, violoncelle,... nous avons droit également à quelques passages chantés dont
le style est largement inspirés par la scène new wave des années 80.
Une formation bien sympathique qui ne demande qu'à être connue.
