~  ANTIMATTER  ~

Angleterre  -  rock progressif  atmosphérique  -  **

Antimatter  est le projet du bassiste  Duncan Patterson ( ex- Anathema )
et de  Michael Moss , des invités participent aux différents albums.
Le résultat est un soft rock atmosphérique d’une qualité remarquable,
influencé principalement par les 70’s et  Pink Floyd .
La musique repose principalement sur des guitares acoustiques et sur
du piano et même sur un peu de violon, les voix sont tantôt masculines
tantôt feminines, magnifiques et envoûtantes. Le style d’Antimatter
se rapproche énormément de celui d’Anathema  mais dans une
version bien plus soft, on est loin, mais alors très loin du metal.
La musique est intimiste, belle, lente, riche, triste, émotionnelle et mélancolique,
les ambiances sont éthérées et contrebalancées par des rythmes trip hop à base
de sampling. C'est très beau, et ça devrait plaire
aux amateur de Anathema , Katatonia  ou encore  Porcupine Tree .
