The Greatest Show On Earth  se forme en 1968 autour du guitariste  
Garth Watt-Roy  et de son frère bassiste  Norman , rejoints par
Mike  Deacon  claviers, Ron Prudence  batterie, ainsi que par trois cuivres, Dick Hanson , Tex Philpotts , Ian  Aitcheson .
Musique aux influences  folk, R&B, Jazz, soul et rock progressif,
dans la lignée de  Blood, Sweat & Tears  ou  Chicago , un excellent groupe
qui malheureusement ne connu pas le succès des groupes pré-cités !
