Martin Orford , clavier de I Q , nous propose un premier album solo,
du néo-progressif savoureux, évoquant les ténors du progressif anglais
des années 80 tels que I Q ou Jadis , rien d’étonnant à cela puisque
le claviériste d’ I Q et de John Wetton s’est entouré de nombreux
musiciens anglais. Des compositions très mélodiques, symphoniques,
avec claviers, flûte, guitares “néo” lyriques à la Jadis .
Avec " the old road " ( 2008 ) Martin Orford , écœuré par le piratage,
fait ses adieux à sa carrière musicale, pour cet ultime album il
s'est entouré de la crème du néo-prog : John Wetton ( Asia ),
Nick D’Virgilio ( Spock’s Beard ), John Mitchell ( Arena ),
Gary Chandler ( Jadis ) et Steve Thorne .
