Nouveau groupe formé autour du guitariste John Fontana , qui comprend
le batteur Corey Folta avec qui il a déjà joué, le chanteur David Bobick ,
le bassiste Matt Masek et le claviériste Zach Tenorio .
La musique de Shadow Circus est influencée par le rock progressif
des seventies mais avec beaucoup de modernité, elle navigue entre
Pink Floyd , Genesis , Yes , E L P , Kansas , Deep Purple , ...
mais également Flower Kings ou Iluvatar avec ici et là quelques
influences en provenance de la musique classique.
Belles harmonies vocales, parties de guitares modernes d'une
belle créativité, titres bien construits, breaks et soli de circonstance,
nombreux et efficaces dialogues guitares-claviers ponctuent ce bel album.
